Creating an Email Signature for Gmail

For our branded email signatures

1. Go to the Google Drive folder for our Email Signatures. There should be an email graphic there with your name on it. Download the graphic.




2. Click on My Drive and upload your custom email graphic there.




3. After uploading to your Drive. Right-click and go to More Actions > Share.





4. Make sure the settings on this graphic is set to "Anyone with the link can view" The signature will not be visible to recipients if this is not checked.




5. Open Gmail. Click on Settings



6. Click on See all settings




7. Scroll down until you see the Signature section. Click on Create new




8. Give the signature a name.



9. Click on Create



10. Click on the box for the signature.




11. Click on Insert image



12. Click on Google Drive



13. Your email graphic should be there under Files.



14. Click on Insert



15. The signature will be huge when you first add it. Click on Signature and click on Medium.




16. Check Insert signature before quoted text in replies and remove the "--" line that precedes it.



18. Select your Signature Name from the dropdown FOR NEW EMAILS USE…



19. Scroll down and click on Save Changes



20. To see your signature, click Compose and it should be there.



21. In case it isn't there. There is a signature button at the bottom where you can check for the signature to populate.
